The 2nd Annual HOPE Reigns in Solanco Youth Rally featuring Bobby
Petrocelli, Compelled, Heather Eisenberger and Rob Sturgill will be held
Friday, May 2, 2008.
It will be held in the Solanco High School auditorium at 7:00 pm with doors
opening at 6:30. A free will offering will be received at the event to help
with meeting the financial needs of the HOPE Reigns Rally.
A New Computer Phone Tree is being started soon; you will not
have to call anyone! If interested in being part of the New Computer Phone

“Witness Festival Needs Baked Goods”
In order for Witness 2008 to remain a free music and preaching festival for
Quarryville, volunteers are needed to help in different areas on June 14th.
Witness will also be running its own food stand again this year. A new item
will be homemade dessert snacks such as brownies, Rice Krispie treats,
cupcakes, fruit bars, and anything else that can be wrapped individually and
sold for 50 cents each.
ATTENTION LADIES 18 & OVER! - Please join us on Saturday, May
10th, 2008 for MOTHERS & OTHERS where we will be celebrating
The Heart of a Woman! Our morning will begin at 8:30am with
breakfast being prepared and served by some of our Wesley men! We will then
move upstairs to be blessed by a skit performed by guest speakers Darlene &
Marion. These ladies are traveling up from New Jersey and are looking
forward to sharing their ministry with us! Our morning together should only
last about two hours, so we hope you can join us for this fun time of
fellowship! Please feel free to bring guests! Because of needing a count for
breakfast, we ask that you please sign up on the pink paper on the bulletin

DATE: Friday, May 2nd - Sunday, May 4th
General Information: We will be leaving Wesley on the church bus @
5:00 pm sharp! Eat before you arrive, or bring a brown bagger. We will
travel to Curwensville, PA in Clearfield County for the weekend. Men, you
are welcome to follow the bus up or drive up separately. A contingent of men
will be heading up early Friday afternoon to setup tents and the campsite,
if you are willing to help with this, please let me know when you contact me
about attending. Two (2) porter Johnnies will be available at the campsite
for your convenience, also MEN, bring your travel mugs, we got your coffee
covered.
We will be attending a local worship service on Sunday morning, eating lunch
afterward, and then leaving to come home. Arrival back home around
4:00 or 5:00 pm at the latest.
Men, this is an easygoing weekend, our desire is for you to kick back,
relax, and spend time with your son doing what you want to do. There will be
times throughout the weekend where you will have options as to what you want
to do! Be sure to discuss before hand, what it is you would like to
participate in.

Youth Slow-Pitch Softball Team
Wesley will once again field a softball team this summer; the team is open
to anyone that will be going into 6th grade up to 15 years old. If you are
interested please sign up in the lobby on the sign up sheet. Coaches this
year will be Mr. and Mrs. Brian Wagner. Everyone gets to play!
**9-inch Sub-Sandwich Sale**
Rawlinsville Camp Meeting Ladies Auxiliary is having a 9-inch Sub-Sandwich
Sale. Cost per sub-sandwich is $4.50. All orders for sub-sandwiches are due
by May 7, 2008. You can pick-up your sub-sandwich orders at Wesley on May
15, 2008 by
6:30 pm. Order form is on community bulletin board.

BETH MOORE BUS TRIP - OCTOBER 16, 2008
Come & spend an evening of relevant Bible teaching - infused with fun!
Departure from Wesley Church in Strasburg: 4:15 p.m.
Destination: University of Delaware
Program begins: 7:00 p.m.
Arrive back at Wesley Church in Strasburg: 11:00 p.m.
Cost is $74.00 and includes transportation & program. Bring a packed supper
for the bus ride.
Drinks & dessert will be provided.
A deposit of $40.00 is due by April 30, 2008.
Balance of $34.00 due by August 31, 2008.
Graduation Information requested - If you or someone in your
family will be graduating from high school this year, please leave
the graduates name and the name of the school in the church office by May
11, 2008. If they are going on to higher education, also list the name of
the school and the major course of study. If you or someone in your family
will be graduating from college this year, please provide the church
office with the following information by May 11, 2008: graduates name, name
of the college, major course of study, and the degree earned.
We wish to recognize the accomplishments of our graduates in a service on
Sunday, June 1, 2008 and send them onto their future plans with the Lord's
blessing.
